Sample Label Policy
We are pleased to offer sample labels to help customers review the quality, material and overall appearance of their chosen design before placing an order.
Initial Sample Run
The initial sample service may include:
- The cost of a new printing plate, where required.
- Complimentary label materials (if stock material)
- Complimentary production time and labour.
Customers are responsible for the cost of any printing plate required to produce their design. Where a suitable plate is already available, no plate charge will apply.
If a non-stock material is required, a nominal fee may apply to procure the material.
Additional or Revised Samples
The complimentary element of our sample service applies to the initial sample run only.
Where additional samples are requested, including samples with revised artwork or design changes, a charge will apply to cover the relevant setup, labour and materials.
Minor Design Changes
If changes to the artwork do not substantially affect the overall appearance or production requirements of the label, customers may be advised to proceed with an order based on the revised artwork rather than requesting another sample run.
If further samples are preferred, we will provide a quotation for the additional sample production.
Sample Quantities
Samples are intended to help customers assess and approve their labels before placing an order. The number of samples supplied is limited, and typically around 3 labels are provided per sample run.
Our sample service is not intended as a substitute for placing a production order.
Proceeding to Order
Where a customer is happy with the sample or revised artwork, we will provide pricing for the full label order. Any charges previously paid for printing plates or samples are separate from the production order unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to review sample requests individually and confirm any applicable charges before production begins.
